It's actually OK for me if the clones are slow to root, it can even be an advantage because clones that hasn't rooted takes up little space and are very easy to hide away somewhere, which is good when i'm flowering plants. This is just a small grow for personal use, so its not that many plants.

how do you do with dark period for your clones? Is it vital? Some says they need it, others not.

    This was a good read:

(link removed, can't post links yet) it's on growweedeasy - cloning in water.

so it seems like short clones (3-4") takes a lot longer to root. One took 2(!) months.. maybe i should have kept that clone i had for 2 months and see if it too had rooted eventually.

you can check if they are taking root by removing the dome for like 10mins. keeping an eye on them. if they start wilting, they havent taken root. if they stand strong, they are rooting. albeit slowly

Actually you can't post links at all. Only exceptions are like YouTube or some image hosting sites and cannabis in the news in our news section.

Very nice. All mine looks nice thus far, but no visible roots after 10 days.

I did forget them in the flowering room today so unfortunately they will get 12h darkness, but i'm not sure it will be a problem.

I've had clones that haven't rooted after 14 days, binned them then gone back to the bin a few days later and they've rooted we've got to remember the plants we grow are hardy and take a lot of abuse.

Haha, yes indeed. They can take a beating for sure.

Two have roots now, both are of the same sort (BubbleBomb), so perhaps its a bit strain dependent..
