    Usually when you see a rust spot that's an indication of the need for calcium, it's also about the first nutrient that you start having issues with if your LED lights are too low. It may very well be your lights are causing the issue because it seems a little bit early to be having a calcium deficiency. Especially since you haven't been feeding up until just now and have been using rainwater, which probably means that you don't have a lockout.

    The lights may make sense, although I am at recommended distance. Much of new growth looks a bit yellow (cant think if word) between the "veins" of the leaves - niramal???

    Cal/mag will actually be delivered tomorrow...

    I guess I'll raise the light a couple inches (she'll be outside mostly next couple days anyway), watch her thru tomorrow, and then decide on cal/mag on monday.

    It won't hurt to use the calcium and magnesium, the yellowing between the veins could also be sulfur but probably it's magnesium. I would probably advise a foliar feed rather than putting it into the soil and then I would reduce the grow nutrients by the amount of nitrogen you have in the calcium and magnesium the next time you feed or if you're feeding close to that.

    Rainwater = calcium deficiency

    Excellent insight. Much appreciated. I'll look into foliar cal/mag mix ratios, etc.

    Good to know, today is first time to use it. I've been using tap and/or distilled, as available. Runoff had measured a steadily decreasing ppm. Last watering showed runoff below 1000 for first time - main reason I got some nutes. Hands off was about over.

    If you are using this, you don't need any food for the first 3 months.

    That's what I used, but I've been measuring runoff... soil nutes are about used up.
