I've never bothered to measure the pH of my water going in or out in soil. What I really care about in soil is what is the TDS or EC. If you have too many minerals in your background water then you don't have the ability to add many minerals yourself in the form of nutrients. I'm not an organic grower so the rules may be different for them.

I'm new as well I've been lowering the pH of my water going in as my soil PH for FF ocean seems to like to be up way over 7, with little effect but my plants seem healthy

Will need to invest in a ppm meter soon. I am growing organic using bio bizz nutes and light mix soil. Was thinking of watering clean at like 5.8 to try and bring it down a bit you think that will work?

I never worry about ph on run-off. Actually I never even check it. I do adjust my ph on water/feed although a lot of people don't think you need too.
Just let the plants tell you if there's a problem. If they look good no worries.

I was just saying to the wife that if I can get a new light for
my next run, I might grow 2 plants of the same stain and ph
one and not the other to see the difference.
