    Default Dark time before chop

I've heard of people leaving their plants in the dark for 24-48 hrs before chopping, at least I'm pretty sure I've read it somewhere. Does anybody do this?

Also wondering how my nrly ready to chop plant will get on in 29c and 56% humidity. Got 2 tower fans 1 ft away on opposite sides, oscilating on highest setting. Should drop 1-2 c tonight I'd hope

A lot of people swear by a dark period. Never tried it myself, although I've been thinking about for this run.

You get more terpenes if you don't have red light the last couple days before harvest, that's where an LED that you can select just blue light really comes in handy. Maybe darkness does the same thing I don't know.

My issue with leaving them in the dark for so long is humidity. It's spikes in the dark. (in my groom anyways) that reason alone has always put me off.

Humidity in my tent, lights on was about 29c 59%, so I took it out and left it in a bedroom, doors open, and its about 60% hum and 26c so hopefully it'll be ok, got an osci fan blowin on it. I reckon I'll try stockpile before next summer, have a break while its hot

I keep saying I'll stock pile. Just can't stop smoking it. If it's in a jar at my house it won't be for long.

I really think this could be strain dependent like some not finishing properly unless you drop from 12 dark hours to 11 so surely a full spectrum to the end would be more beneficial than no light at all ....

Just people's opinions then. I reckon I did right by taking it out, only dropped about 1 c in the groom last night. Should be ready (many ambers) within a week, but if I have to sacrifice a few days to avoid a mould danger zone, I will
