    Default Dryin temp

Got 1 plant drying, was in a bedroom at first, humidity was about 53% so that's not an issue really. The temp was 24c though. I put a tent up to see if conditions were better but it's just the same, can't draw cool air in from anywhere and only have a small black orchid to pull air out, no filter (not needed). I can't see me getting temp down, ice in the tent is too much faff for a week and would raise humidity I imagine. Is it best to keep it in the tent or have it out in the bedroom if conditions are gonna be the same? Thinking smaller space may be more of a mould risk.

I know some good growers care bout rh more than temps. So keep 55-60% for first couple days id say and see how fast they dry up...

Has anyone ever used a wine cooler during drying / curing? I have an older unit that used to be built into a wall in the wine cellar.

It seems to help keep terps smelly. Now im thinking of picking up a used wine cooler ($25) (mini fridge looking) and keeping the nugs in smaller size tote that slide in and out easily.

These mainly are set at 40% RH, I was gonna try to set the temp to 58° F. Seems to be the temp early that keeps the trichs stinky. I just cant forget them in their too long. Some of these unit sold for over $700. People must be nuts for wine, but i'm even nuttier trying ro cure weed. lol

Never used one of those but there was a thread on here a while back about using a normal fridge for drying, worked well if I recall, can't remember the thread starters name tho :s

The humidity is always near 60% in these they say. I want to adjust the temp to 58°F.

Not gonna get one for $25, but just made a deal for this one $100. Less than 1 year old.
I have mesh lids that I use instead of the metal seal for mason jars, such a huge help at the beginning of the curing process when in the fridge. 10 plastic lids for $1.99 at hobby lobby. I cut the outer row out for the smaller size lids, and still have to come up as the lid is just a little short for the big mouth jars, that will fill the fridge perfectly. Ill have it set up in a couple days with a pic.

    Excited !
