    Default LED Lights

    Hi folks,
Hoping someone can give some feedback.
Has anyone tried Spider Farmers led lights? They look pretty good and the sound ok to me
but I may has well be reading Latin about such stuff. Trying to avoid
buying any cheap Chinese shite. Looked at HLG for the foot print I want I think I would
need 3 or 4. Trying to flower in a 4x4 foot or 5x5 foot space.

    Thanks

I grow in a 4x4 with 2 260w HLG's. You can go that route or go for a HLG600/550 single unit. Either is more than enough in a 4x4 , I havent got above 400w total this run.
I have 2 lights for a couple reasons. 1. the big single fixtures weren't available when I imported my 1st light , and 2. I like the ability to split the lights if one side grows taller i can keep the other light low and maintain penetration ooh err

If you dont mind spending a little extra buddy i would invest in the HLG as that is one of the best LEDs going you would only need 2 of 260w in a 4x4 like mac said good luck fella

Thanks guys. I really like the idea of using 2 lights. I figure if some plants finish early I can put the others under one and shut the other one off.
My power bills here are freakin' crazy.

I seem to only be finding them in kits. No way I have the skill to put one together. Do they sell assembled and is the V2 rspec the same thing?
Sorry to ask but I really don't understand all the research I'm reading.

    Appreciate it.

If you can wire a 3 pin plug you can manage the LED kits Screw the boards to the heatsink if they arent shipped attached. Put the plug on the driver, strip wires for the driver to the board (most come pre stripped), run wires to the board. Plug wires into board. Plug in light. Turn on.

Theres several video guides on youtube if you get stuck or wanna have a look at the process .

V2 is the 2nd version of the boards, R spec means it has red light diodes added

Thanks for the info Mac. I was scared to death, I thought I had to solder each LED onto the board.

The Spider farmer lights aren't bad but HLG is better. Not sure of the difference in price.
    I run 2 X 240w QBs in a 4x4 tent.
Mine are HLG copies LM301h and HLG meanwell drivers.
75% of time you'll only need one light and that won't be on full power.
Go easy with them. The power of them can catch you out.
