IMHO, there are no decent clip on fans.

However, after you buy one (cos you don't believe me) & maybe get a whole grow before it fails... keep the clip on bit, it's useful elsewhere LOL

Agreed, been through enough in less than a year. Tower fans are good if you can fit em in. As for answers, there should just be an option above each reply to choose that one, I think

I bet there aren’t. Mines makes a rattle so Iv got a tower one in there the now. But it’s just a right pain. So was looking for maybe a couple clip one better than my first one. It lasted like 9 months. Even if they last same time but were a bit more powerful. Was like a 6” ram one like £13.

If you are interested... Argos basic 7" desktop fan uses pretty much the same joiner as the clip on fans... may need a quick file down on the newer ones though

I hate clip on fans. Can never get them in the right position and they are just crap :-(. I like those flat "oscillating" fans you can get off eBay. They're flat fans which you can hang perfectly up against a wall

Their pretty much the same fan with a different name and a different price tag, something 17 watt or above, they all seem to have the same body casting and all seem to fit the pole clips.
So much to learn, so little time to learn it

Asda doing a 30inch tower for 25 quid, it's got a nut at the bottom to secure the base but I wound wire round it then tightened, it let's it oscillate while hanging horizontal. It's also got a timer function to let the fan come on at intervals.

M_C can we get a poll on the go? Do people prefer the tower fans like scooby has or these flat oscillating fans?
