To be fair, that fan would be ideal infront of my intake I would use both if space allowed it

Yeah I need new fans badly so trying to decide on which type. Space is deffo an issue. But if I had a tower fan I would hang it like you have

I use both. Tower fan and Honeywell turbos (similar to the ram) hung from ratchets

Cons of anything that occilates is it will eventually grind to a halt, though the fan usually keeps working.

The tower if hung horizontal can be raised or lowered as needed and it's puts out a wider flow of air imo because of its shape.

The flat floor fan is usually cheaper than a tower and would be ideal for under canopy airflow I reckon

Ah! Just bought one of these...Ā£25 seemed pretty good...RAM products are generally ok in my experience.

I use one of these in front of my passive intake screen, HELPS loads. The I have a tower fan on its side blowing over the plants. Probably could do with another so the whole canopy gets a breeze but every day il adjust it a little

Admittedly I have never tried the tower fans inside the tent, although I will do one day..however I use these 'clip on' types that are actually more secure than the usual and I'm impressed with them
