Extraction size for room

Hi
I have a room that I’m going to grow in and it’s 4mx2.5mx2.4m
Didn’t want to use all the room but also didn’t want to buy a tent also so I can grow more at a later date if needed.
My question is do I Still need an extraction set up that will change The air in that room the recommended amount or can I go smaller and not effect the grow?

Has to be room size whether you've got 1 plant in the corner or 8 in the full space work out room size in volume. Then add 25% and buy a fan which pulls that amount. (the 25% is an average to counteract the filter)
