    Default Carbon filter choice?

    Hi
Can anyone tell me which carbon filter they would recommend?
Looking at a kit that has CarboAir filter, but a lot of people say mountain air.
    Any others?
    What’s Rhino like?
I don’t want any smell if that’s possible
Also are cheap ones false economy?
    One more thing!
The fan and carbon filter give extraction amounts of air per hour but is that with the fan on as fast as it will go?
    Thanks

I'd say mountain air aswell. I've used unbranded e8ay ones. Rhino hobby and pro. But the mountain air filter has lasted the longest. And also comes with a lengthy warrantee

My last 3 Rhino Pros have leaked smells so I’ve now switched to mountain air. Too early in the grow to let you know the outcome unfortunately

Another vote for Mountain Air. Yes they are pricey but you only ever need one! They come with 2 prefilters, a 3 year warranty and if you own a pop rivet gun (about £10) you can refill the filter when it dies.
They are rated to work upto 85% humidity and mine ran 2 years 24/7 with no leaks.

I replaced it with a fresh one rather than refill but the old one is in my smoke room until it dies then I'll refill it and swap it for the one in the tent in a couple years, rinse repeat

I also had a Rhino Pro (and used them for many years), however I do feel the same as bud in that the quality just isn't there any more..purchased a CarboAir filter and happy with it so far

Ah shit don’t be saying that lads both mine are rhino pro lol, saying that I’ve been using one nearly 2 years now and touch wood it’s still going fine but I’ve only just started using the new one, but to be fair my plants are autos and are always small

My mountain air is over 2 years and still preforms like day 1. Worth every penny.

I also run a Vortex Profilter and works great just can't comment on longevity.
