    Default Alien pro 55 litre system

    Hello people

    Im just new to the group and I'm thinking about buying the alien pro 55 litre system, and using 1000w led lights over each plant, has anyone used this system and if so what sort of yeilds are we talking? Are they what there made out to be on YouTube?

    I personally wouldn't recommend anybody buy a recirculating deepwater culture system, especially at the price they want for that.

    I think what I would do is build a simple cocoa drain table and do coco drain to waste. If you're after yields Coco does just about as well as hydro. The secret is to set it up on auto water and use smaller pots with more frequent watering.

    If you want to do deep water culture just get yourself a simple one pot system and give it a try. The meters you need for the hydro or the same ones you need for doing cocoa and you can always upscale or switch over.

    Hi mate. I used to run the same system. Pricy but excellent quality kit. I did a run of Strawberry Banana last year in it. Lots of learning curves but more to do with my lights than the Alien tbh. Loved the system.
