Oh I should ask, if just using tap water do you add the cal mag immediately or at a later stage? (And it’s 1ml/L right?)

    Cheers

Also I’m a numpty I checked and it’s canna terra professional soil I use.

Well I grow in coco. Canna coco pro plus. And with my tap water having an EC of 0.1....I add a cal mag supplement at only 4ml per ten ltrs of water. So thats 0.4ml per ltr.
You might no need the cal mag tbh. Once you adding a feed....the plants might get enough from that. You could just wait till the plants showing signs of needing it.....n then foliar feed them at 1ml per ltr.

What brand is this "coco soil" whsts the name of the stuff?

If anyone’s interested in the progress, check this post in a few days if I hopefully remember to update.
I plan to let the soil dry out for a day or so before I transplant them anyways

    cheers all!

    Hey guys!

Here’s my update on how the transplanting went with pics attached.

I had to delay the transplant but I think it actually worked in my favour letting the soil become rather dry which made the plant easier to get out of the fabric pot.

So as you can see in the pics one of my girls is a bit behind the other (I’m not entirely sure why I think I may have accidentally planted that seed further into the soil delaying it’s sprouting) however I was very pleasantly surprised by how dense it’s roots were, initially thinking it’s size came from overwatering drowning it’s roots. The smaller one is the one being shown transferred in the pics.

While it was relatively easy to clean up I totally underestimated the how much of a mess it was going to create (thank god I had lined my cupboard with vinyl lol)

Shook off a fair amount of the old soil as i could so I could add as much new soil with fresher nutrients in it. Tried to transfer them carefully but as quickly as possible, it went pretty smoothly.

If anything I now think I may have brought them slightly to close to the rim haha but I definitely think they’ll have a better chance now with a much larger amount of soil to grow roots into.

While it was a slight pain in the arse I think it’ll be totally worth it.

    Cheers all!

EDIT: the reason why the larger one is so tilted in the final pic is I had a fair amount of garden ties low-dress training it. I will likely reapply them but for now I’m just going to let them bounce back from the shock of transplanting.
