I think the humidity during the final 2 weeks must be 45% and the cooler the temps the better off youre gonna be. Tough this time of year to battle humidity, but cooler temps ahead at night should certainy help, assuming everything was smooth up to this point. Thats one reason I picked up a used wine fridge, I want the ultra tight nugs too. The wine fridge will keep the humidity at a constant 60%, and the white wine setting on mine fluctuates back and forth between 52° - 60°F. Im still tinkering around with the timing in and out.

A proper drying method and cure will help to achieve this

If you want rock solid buds, you need blue light and plenty of it. With hid lights, it's easier, and cheaper, to make a light with a lot of red. Gives better gpw figures at the cost of less dense nugs. (idk about led lights.) Some growers switch from hps to mh for the last 2 weeks of flower to get an increase in bud density.

Agree with the blue light but not for that reason imho. Blue light inhibits growth and therefore node spacing. Same amount of bud distributed over a smaller length hence tighter buds.

Not saying youre wrong but as the nodes are already formed by last 2 weeks im not sure how the buds would tighten up.

The use of MH at the end is to trigger pigments that are associated with terpenes and canabinoids. Nice bit of sulphur works a treat too.

Take it from me mate those 'cali' packs you buy on the street are never from cali. And the rock hard nugs are from Pgrs. Really not healthy at all. Unfortunately there's a lot of scummy tricks the black market growers use that we will never know
