    Default Dehumidifier suggestions

Hiya I have a small 60 x 60 x 120cm tent with two auto's growing, they are only 11 days old and humidity is 62%. I have a 4" exhaust fan with carbon filter and passive intake.

I'm worried that the humidity is going to get too high especially in flowering. Can you recommend a cheap humidifier, can I use those plastic tubs with the balls in or will they affect the bud?

Hi Sals77, to be honest with you..in my opinion those plastic tub types with the balls in (or any of those super cheap options) make little to no difference at all, nothing substantial anyway so although they wouldn't affect your bud, they also wouldn't really do a good job of reducing your humidity.

With good ventilation and air movement inside the tent it should be fine, if when you come to the flowering stage you really do notice the humidity is too high then, increasing temps and airflow do help..if they don't then that means the air drawn in from the passive intake is likely to be high and that's really where you want to adjust things..make sure there is good air movement inside the room the tent is in, and if it really is extremely bad then you can purchase a good dehumidifier, do some research but most start at roughly £100+

Or any other reputable brand of electronic goods. Not random stuff. Otherwise, invest on proper ventilation.

There a lot of things that can effect the humidity,
whats the max, minimal temps in the tent ? (higher the temps the lower the humidity)
Find a way to reduce the passive intake air as this will cause a vacuum and reduce the humidity.

If you align a little dehumidifier with your intake hole/window you can start to see a bit of a reduction as all the fresh air goes via the dehumidifier
