    Default Major Autoflower Accident

    Hi Guys,

I am new here. I have a bit of an emergency I was hoping someone could advise me on. First time grower and I jumped in with a small tent, 600w led, and 19l oxypot for 1 plant for my first grow.

Everything was going great although I started LST late in week 4 due to ignorance but that was not my worst mistake. The wire I used to hold down the plant was too sharp and effectively topped the plant in week 5.

I'm worried I've killed her and am sure from what I've read I have highly impacted my yield best case scenario. The wire took around an inch of the top and the main budding sight.

Is there anything I can do to help recovery? how badly have I messed up here?

Thanks in advance guys (an apologies for skipping the introduction post I'll get there once I have got over the panic)

    Sin

Pictures would help and i dont believe topping a plant will ever cause it to die.

Hello and welcome to the forum Sinsinful, and listen..why are you being so hard on yourself?..do you think all growers just fly through this without issues or problems?.. far from it bud, we all make mistakes, even those with years of experience.

You can't get to your personal 'perfection' without making mistakes along the way, look at it like you're a step closer to becoming a better grower, and producing the results you want.

She will not die, she will give you bud and she's also given you experience..I would say that's a win

    Thanks man.

She was perfect though. Everything was going by the book until week 5.

Thanks for letting me know I haven't killed her!

Welcome brother, depending upon the type and brand of autoflower you might have just topped it at the right exact time and the top does increase your yield so what the heck. Has everybody else's sand don't sweat it just keep going that's what we do.
