They take a lot of abuse but not neglect, I usually start LST after the 4th true leaf appears and try to bend the stem to about 90 degrees Click image for larger version.

    Hi guys,

Quick update guys. The plant not only survived it thrived. Problem is its grown to big for its tent! Not sure what to do about this as its an autoflower and I've read everywhere not to trim an autoflower. Strain is Royal AK Automatic, in a 19l oxypot, with a 600w led. Any advice on if I should trim to let light to the buds? and what do I do about the buds growing higher than the light? EDIT: this is the start of week 9

Happy to see your plant thriving brother. Told ya she aint.gona die

Id cut all bottom and side growth, then bend all branches inside out. This way you wil get them farther away from the hot spot and avoid bleaching. You could try some supercropping to really drop down your canopy level but cautios, you might snap some branches completely. But given the over crowdiness id say no worries could take a third plant off and it will probably just yield more and better bud

    Thanks for the help Shreder!
I cleared the botttom of the plant and a few from the side but was afraid of doing to much at once.
Bent the branches over like you said and "tested" supercropping by accident on two branches!
Will post some updates soon but she looks a better fit in the tent now at least.

    Hi again guys,

Back with another update. Week 11 and getting ready to flush for a few days before harvest. Problem is my buds are all thin and whispy :-(
I doubt anything can be done at this stage but can anyone tell me what went wrong here? pics attached.

They don't look ready yet, pistols still look white could be a couple more weeks. Check the trichomes with a loupe, trichomes want to be milky in colour with about 20% Amber.

Looks like probably a combination of not enough light and maybe too hot.
