    Question Revitalising dried out compost?

Hi folks, I have some unused organic potting mix that I left open in a plastic crate about 6 months or so ago, around 3/4 of a 50 litre bag. I forgot all about it, has been sitting in my garage so I don't think anything has got into it, or its nutrients have been leached out, but I figure the microbial life must have likely perished by now as it is dry as a bone all the way through.

What would be a good way to getting it teaming with microscopic goodness again? I have some Biosys tea I could water into it, whilst turning, along with some yucca-based wetting agent. Would this be enough or should I mix in some fresh compost or worm castings too, and if so how much would you recommend?

    Any help much appreciated.
