    Hey all.
What timers u guys recommend for LED lights? I know mechanical timers aren't the best. Just alot of choice for digital and I'm clueless haha.
    Cheers

I run a Meross smart strip with my QB's, handles start up fine. Can set and check timers/schedules etc from your phone.

Loses connection now and then (mylar fucks with the signal) but still runs the timers when it does, just cant switch the sockets on/off on the fly. I have to re add the device and set it up again every 3-4 months when it drops but its a 2 minute job.

Links to Alexa/ok google/siri/samsung smart things so can be voice controlled too.

There's a couple models, one is 4 gang and one is 3 gang with a bank of 4 usb slots. I have one of each and both run well.

NO SELL, NO SMELL, NO TELL!!!

I trust mechanical more than digital.

I think the digital I’ve had in the past have been Chinese rubbish.

I got Chinese rubbish actually two that have been use for over 5 years, with no problem. And I also have the one's like MC, but other brand that still work as well.

Brilliant cheers guys. I've seen those hotshot, but my plug for the lights is 3 pin. I like the one mc has. Iv used both never had a problem with the mechanical one. Ive just read the that the LED lights may not turn off all the time. Switching to a photo nxt grow and don't want anything to go wrong. Or I would like less to go wrong should I say
    Cheers

Never heard of one switching off unless you wanted it to. Only reason I could think of, you might not have had it set right. Any of those cheap timers, Digital or not, will do 1,000W HPS, all mine have with no problem like BLY has already said. You have different plugs over there in UK. Sure you could find them on your ebay, if you were to look for them.
