    Default Unanswered: Root riots ?? Any good ?

    Was just lookin about online and need to order some jiffy’s for next grow. And come across these are they any good see it says about havin some nutrients already in them. Cheers guys.

    I've used them before but I prefer jiffys, roots like this in 8 days I've found the best trick is to shade the prop like this so the prop only receives ambient lighting

    Yeah thanks that’s all Iv used before never had problems with them. Just wondered if they were any better. But if they much the same probs just stick with what I know. Thanks.

    Moved from rockwool to root riots thought they similar to jiffys?

    Seems like roots comin faster with the riots.. took me a week to see roots vs. 10-14 days with rockwools but that might be strain specific... Worth a b2b

    I've heard root riot and rot in the same sentence too many times. That could just be a coincidence of course.

    If the root riot cubes are like rapid rooters from general hydroponics I would switch. The rapid rooters are cocoa that have been precharged with the light seedling mix, they work great. The main drawback is the size of the package you buy, they tend to dry out and you have to replace them if you don't use them on fast enough.
