Default Answered: Is this male or female please?

Hi guys, my brother had a bag seed that we've been growing, doing alright for the little amount of effort that's been put into it. Just need some help in identifying if it's male or female please? I originally thought it was female, but as it's developed I may have been wrong. Hopefully the pictures are clear enough to see. Cheers! Click image for larger version.

I see pre-flowers and stipulles at those nodes so it's definitely a girl as hotshot says. Doesn't mean she can't go both ways later on, it just means no worries now.

Fantastic! I haven't grown a normal seed before, so haven't really done any research. I wasn't aware it could change later on, is there anything I should do to avoid that?

Shes a girl congrats shes covered in bugs tho I’d get that sprayed asap if I was you. If it’s a bag seed expect seeds and hope she doesn’t throw any off, if she does then it’ll probably be worth bubble hashing her after.

Good luck with the grow fella

Edit: just seen your latest post on the thread, to try and stop her making seeds again theres a few things you can do.

1,) Chop her when shes ready don’t let her flower for too long.
2,) Try and keep the temps as stable as you are able too
3,) Don’t stress her too much ie: defoliation, super cropping, over watering ect.

Watch your nodes until your buds are well established, then if you end up getting any Hermies it will be later on and they will come directly out of the bud. Usually when they come directly out of the bud their too late to do any real significant harm.

Great catch, I wasn't even looking at the leaves underneath.

Sweet, cheers dude. What do you use for a spray? I've had an absolute nightmare with aphids this year across all my fruit and veg, and there's tons of different flies in the pvc greenhouse I'm growing this plant in. I usually use an insecticidal soap/neem oil mixture which always clears out the aphids.
