    Default Outdoor buds are shrinking

    Hello.

I have a plant that is at least 4 weeks in flowering mode.

I checked my plants yesterday and I noticed that buds on one single plant are smaller that they were one week ago.

It happened last year with one plant top.

Are there any pests that can eat buds and make the shrink?

Some pistil hairs are slowly turning brown, but there is a lot of new white hairs. I dont have a Magnifier to lipka wt trichomes.

    Schould I chop this plant?

Hi Johny100, welcome to the forum..share a picture of the plant with us.

Pests wouldn't make a bud shrink enough for you to notice, but as the bud matures and the pistils die off it can look like the bud is smaller, as the pistils can make things look 'fluffy' and wide lol.

Best to invest in a loupe/microscope with at least 60x magnification, you can pick them up fairly cheap these days and it's a very important piece of equipment when it comes down to when to chop.

    Underwatering will also do this.

Thank you for your quick answer.

I've lost 4 plants last week because of wild boar or roe deer.

So I am very "sensitive" to any new problems.

Two weeks ago the plant (with shrinoing buds) had some problems with edges of the leaves. They were turning yellow then brown.

Second problem I think about are aphids.

But I think I didn't look carefully enough to notice them.

I will take a picture, which is a risky behaviour, but will try to upload it here.
