Default Anyone know whats wrong here???

i just switched to 12/12 for flowering about 2.5 weeks ago. I noticed yesterday i had nitrogen toxicity (see picture of pointing tips/clawing) so flushed it but when i woke up this morning the leaves started turning black. Is this also due from the nitrogen toxicity? Is there something else i'm missing? How long will it take to reverse the Nitrogen Toxicity? This is my first grow where i found a seed in my grinder and decided to give it a shot and kind of just winging it based on the info I've found online. Any information is appreciated since i pretty much don't know what i'm doing.

My first thought is a root rot problem.

What medium are you growing in? Watering schedule, feed...need a shit ton more info.

Purely guess work as there’s such little info, but as this has happened just after the flip, if you’re watering the same as before, it’s probably too much.

Or maybe you increased your bloom nutrients after you flipped? Going too high on the PK will give you black edges also.

like i said i was winging it and used the miracle grow potting mix. knowing what i know now i would never have used it but its too late for that and its been growing fine up until now. i have the fox farm trio nutes that i follow the feeding schedule for i started adding the bloom last week when i flipped. i keep the plant in a pot and have her outside during the day and bring it in at night in case it rains or anything like that - as far as watering goes i just water when the soil feels dry which is about every 3 days give or take depends how hot it is outside.

    Eh?

So you didn’t manually flip them?

You need to just completely forget about the schedule with Fox farm nutrients, I used to grow with those and they are very easy to get too much buildup. I always tried to get by without feeding by repotting my plants about three times, the final time would be about two weeks before I flipped and then I wouldn't feed until the last maybe four to six weeks of flower.

Should i just continue to use plain water until these issues correct themselves? Is there anything specific i should be doing to help the N tox or whatever the blackening of the leaves are?

I would definitely stick with the plain water until something else develops, like lower leaves getting yellow and pale or new rust spots showing up that kind of thing.
