hi...im trying to root some cuttings my friend gave me..im using little peat pellets that you soak and ive got them in my grow tent under light in a plastic tank...however after 20 hours they look droopy...any advice or possibe solutions?thanks

Are they under a dome? Have you misted them? What light are they under? Have they been dipped in a rooting hormone?

Cut your leaves back like cut about half way across each one, you don't want to plant trying to support a whole bunch of leaves when it doesn't have any roots. All you really need are just enough green to keep the photosynthesis going while you're rooting.

This doing cuttings from what I've read you've got to be quick , once cut needs to be dipped in some clonex or similar, then straight in whatever your keeping them in, have a look at mrcannabissir, he's just started some, has a thread going at the moment

You should be quick yes, but theres always hope.

Make sure you mist them every couple days, give some fresh air for an hour daily or so, then mist again and put the dome on. Low lights . 10-20w cheap led enough for bout 20*20cm area..root hormone is not a must. But helps prevent mold and disease on stem.

Use sanitized knife to cut in 45 degree angle

I leave them with 2 leaves, and cut em back by half. Once rooted and begins to shoot new leaves, i cut old leaves. So more energy towards new leaves.

ok thanks for advice...im using a 260w qb led light tht ive turned down as much as possible and hung at top of tent..i will try cutting down the leaves...yes ive been misting them and they r under a dome
