    Default 2x4 tent - Plant positions 3 or 4

    Hey everyone, quick question.
    Posting 2 pics below. It's a 2x4 tent.
So first picture will show 3 plants down the middle of the tent.
2nd Pic will shows them 3 squashed more together like diagonally to make space for a 4th one (which I have vegging in a smaller pot) I marked a circle where the 4th plant would be.

So the question is - Can I add a 4th plant to that tent and just position them diagonally so they fit.
Or should I get rid of the 4th plant and just grow the 3 in the middle so they have a little bit more space?

    Assuming 2x4 to be feet... or, 24" x 48"?

    Which is 60cm x 120cm

I used to keep a tent like that for propagation and mothers you can finish plants in them, but only three.

If you're going to let them grow free range, it doesn't matter as long they are spaced out fairly evenly. They will sort it out themselves once they get bigger. So whichever is most convenient to you.

Even from the same seed pack, genetics can vary. For free range, I'd start with 4 plants and as soon as it got over crowded, the weakest looking one would be culled and the other 3 repositioned to give a better looking canopy.

If doing a scrog, once again I would start with 4 plants and as soon as they grew enough to need weaving, the runt would be culled and the other 3 placed in a straight line.
