    Default Need advice on feeding

Hi, I have a nice plant growing in a big tub of good quality soil. The last plant I grew I think I overfed and got nutrient lockout. This led to major phosphorus (or potassium) deficiency and poor quality weed. A
As you can see this new plant is very healthy looking and dark green. I haven't fed it yet.
I'm scared to feed it while it still looks green and healthy.
Can I wait until it goes a lighter a lighter green to add nutrients or should I start adding small amounts now.
Basically I need advice on a feeding schedule. I plant to put it in the flower stage soon.
    Any advice welcome, Thanks

I never feed in soil until I see deficiencies. It doesn't seem to hurt my grows at all even without auto flowers.

That's quite the tall plant, I guess you don't have to worry about it growing into the light you've got a nice tall tent.

Hi plant looks healthy enough bud. I'd wait a until the plant needs food normally after about 3wks in good soil as its it's got food in it. Depending upon nutes you use refere to the feed chart from the nute company but ppl tend to have the dosage the nute company states then gradually increase

Nice looking plant. No you should wait, don't over do it when you do starting feeding, only start out at 1/4 strength. I personaly never feed over 1/2 strength, if I feed at all. Good luck and happy growing, and welcome to the TalK, enjoy dude.

Good, I think I'll take that approach. Yea I started it off outside and it must have been stretching for light. The lower leaves got eaten by slugs too. Thanks for the welcome.

I can't help with soil but for your safety, get the electrics off the floor.

Mains sockets chest height or higher and anything to do with liquids waist height or lower.
