I remember that I used to just wait until they were cloudy and some had started turning brown. I do have a bud magnifying glass

expect the lemon amnesia to go a week or 2 longer than the pineapple. if you want to chop all at the same time, you may have to go more developed on pineapple if the lemon isnt developed enough.

Yeah I noticed that the lemon will take a bit longer. It was the free seed I got from Herbies.

    Day 7

So they’re beginning to grow a bit now although the roots for the 3 pineapples are slower to show through the bottom of the pits than he lemon.

I’m still feeding root stim at half strength and a&b at 0.5ec.

    Temps and rh seem fine.

Do they look a bit slow to you mate?
    Should I increase root stim?

how often are you feeding now?

at this stage, you should be feeding every other day. you want the roots to venture out and letting the coco dry out abit helps them do this. dont let it completely dry out though.

RH could go up a bit.. you got a dome you can use for now?
    .
if not, you can cut a 2ltr bottle of drink in half and use the top half to fit over the pot as a dome. using the lid to control the RH slightly.

to make it a bit easier for both of us, when you do an update, do it with the following info included.. (ive used my own data as an example)

    Day "X" of Veg/Flower

    600w HPS + Marshydro1200 (Full power 509w) on 13/11 off
    Temp @ intake 19c. temp @ canopy 20c off - 26c on (goes up to 27c max)
    RH 44-59%
    EC 1.0 (20ml A+B to 15ltrs of water.)
    PH 5.7

look at getting some green soft ties, some thin bamboo and string for plant support later.

what light are they under now?

I actually got the day wrong on my previous post.

    Day 10 of veg
    75-89f
Rh has been low as in photo but I've just added water to the tray and it's at 58% and still climbing
    EC 0.6
I've just gone from half strength root stim to full strength.
I'm using a bucket that I top up daily with 2 litres of water and just a bit of a&b until at 0.6
    pH 5.5-5.6
I'm spraying water into them quite regularly too

My propagation lamp is 120w and is on 24/0

I'm thinking the low Rh has maybe slowed them down a bit? That should be sorted now although the roots are still slow to show. They're only showing on two of them.

So I’ve got the rh up to around 55-65% and the roots are coming through more quickly already. I messed up there huh.

I’ve put an old pc fan in there too

When do you think I should increase the ec?

use the root stim at half strength. its enough. saves you money in the long run too.

lets see how they do in the next few days and up EC if needed.

you're spraying plain water onto the medium? if so, stop. you want to give them only feed. the lower ec and higher ph of the water can cause probs if you keep it up.

    they're looking great!

Default Barneys Farm Pineapple Chunk and Amnesia Lemon Mentored by Krofam (coco)

    Day 14

    0.7 ec
    5.5-5.6 ph
    70-87f
    Rh 40-50%

I’ve stopped spraying in them now and I’ve dropped back to 1/2 strength root stim.

The roots are still fairly slow to show through

Do you reckon I should increase ec to 0.8?
