Default Advice on Keeping my Stash Hydrated Please?

    Hi everyone

I recently had a good harvest and have over 3 oz of bud I need to store for a few months. I know that it will dry out too much for my liking over such a long time and I'm looking for advice on keeping it hydrated.
After searching online I found boveda humidity packs and these seem to be exactly what I need so I'm wondering if anyone has used these and if so did they work?
I would prefer to avoid using orange peel as I've heard it can cause mould.
As always any advice is much appreciated thanks.

The boveda 62% packs will see you right mate alot of commercial growers use them to preserve there flowers

The orange peel does work but its not ideal as it will taint your buds with that horrible smell lol

Changing the thought slightly, why not just keep in mason jars?

Mason jars in the US, Kilner jars in the UK. Nothing else needed.

The bud is dry when the stems 'snap' without breaking off. The burping is done when the buds no longer stick together. I burp them by having the jars either open or closed on alternate days.

When that is done correctly, they can last for years in Kilner jars. 12 month old bud is very smooth. Having enough bud to get past 12 months is the hard part.

If the bud is over dried, ie. the stem will break off when snapped, half a lettuce leaf in the jar will add moisture without changing the taste.

I stick a mini hygro in a jar with the bud. I just use carrots now if it's lower than 62% . Used to use lemon, but no odour from a good ol carrot
