The only downside to airpots is the water draining out the holes. I wrap them with clingfilm to help but no matter how slow water will find it's way out. Still rather the airpots over others tbh

Good ol' air pots holding water perfectly and are the only container i use to wash my coco. No spill outs and mess. Or at least 90% less than any other pot. Talkin bout spikes air pots

I have seen guys that got root aphids with airpots and had a really difficult time with all those little holes direct through to the roots. That's when I see them wrapping plastic wrap and everything else around the sides.

I use air pots because people bang on how good they are. Can’t say I notice any difference between them and standard pots?
Or maybe I just don’t pay enough attention...

Well i think I'll avoid the pots, maybe give them a go with a run to waste system in the near future.

Sounds like they arnt really suited to a wick watering system.

Probably work well in a flood and drain table system....

Thank you all for your input

You ain't filling them properly if its pissing out the holes...You have to layer the pot a couple of handfuls at a time pressing the coco into the cones...I've never had an issue watering either by hand or automated..

Also they have have to be assembled in a specific way...There are a couple of rows of cones that are not perforated, these need to be at the top....
