    Default New Wilma grow noob.

Thought I'd share my grow, first time doing hydroponics, IV modded my Wilma 70ltr Res, mj1000 pumping 24/7 creating a waterfall, split into both sides creating DO, well I'm hoping that's what's happening as ive never seen a mod quite like this lol. Feel free to add your opinion on this.

I've also cut five inch holes underneath the air pots and have drip rings on 24/7 as well, my grow is in a homebox ambient XL 1.5+1.5+2.2, t6 infinity with rhino pro filter, spiderfarmer sf4000 led light, medium is clay with cuttings started in rockwool cubes. Feel free to add comment as everyday a learning day as far as I'm concerned.Attachment 388733Attachment 388732

Looks good idea. I think you lose a lot of height using the original pots. Iv thought about something like this in future maybe. Love to see how it goes.

Thanks for the reply, IL keep posting my results as I go along with it, hoping for good things but my first try at hydro so it's a learning curve, I'm using mega crop powder all in one feed.

The bit in the centre of the Res is to stop the lid sinking down in the middle, just there to give it a bit more rigidity and strength.

Unfortunately not so good, I had the cuttings in rockwool and the rockwool became drenched, I panicked and reverted back to bigger air pots in co co, I had to squeeze the water out the rockwool before replanting in the co co, hand watering for now, but plan to use the Wilma when I've got a decent root ball, cuttings seem to be bouncing back though.

Hmmm I wish I could help but I have zero coco experience.
