If you run the mother tent light from the same 12/12 timer/contactor as the flowering light(s), all you need is a low wattage household led/cfl in the mother tent running 24/0 or 18/6.

you could try putting a sheet over the tent,maybe a cheap green bed sheet so that any light that does get through the sheet is reduced and is green?
Way easier to pull up a sheet to get into the tent than using tape each time.
