    Exclamation New grower needs advice

    Hi guys,

I've started my autoflower off in a 15L pot. Its grown quite well and I've had no problems until now. Its entered the pre flowering stage and its showing signs of root bound, such as leaves turning yellow and dying, the roots also are visible out the drainage holes at the bottom. Should I repot into a larger container? Would it cause the plant any stress when its in the pre flowering stage? Also how would you go about re-potting such a big plant? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Marsh93.

Unless you are looking to grow a tree, 15L is plenty. As a rule of thumb, 1 litre of pot size can give an ounce (or more) of bud. Check out the grow challenge threads here to see how much can be had from a small container.

Once the roots are established, they grow out of the bottom of the pot and they get 'air pruned'. Nothing to worry about.

The yellow leaves might be a different problem. Yellow at the top or at the bottom of the plant?

    Hi farmer geddon,

I am relieved to know its nothing to worry about, im definitely not looking to grow a tree lol. Im new to this site as well as the world of growing so I will definitely check out some other threads.

The yellow leaves were at the bottom of the plant, but have recently snapped from the stem. I will upload some pics. Some overall general advice on how the plants looking would be great. (first attempt)
