The competition:
Freedom of Seeds have crossed 2 strains, Dancehall and Banana.
You just need to guess the name of the new strain!
This new strain is not available anywhere at present, so if you are a lucky winner you could be the first to produce a grow diary! Make history!
1st 8 seeds
2nd gets 6 seeds
3rd gets 4 seeds
We would like to ask that these seeds get grown and a diary is kept here on THCtalk within 5 months with Freedom of Seeds in the diary title.
If you are happy to keep a grow diary of a brand-new strain then get your entry in.
RULES
1. Must have been a member here at THCtalk since 6/10/20
2. You need at least 20 posts.
3. Create a diary of the strain in the next 5 months, growing at least 1 plant.
4. Provide us with a safe address if a winner.
5. In the event that more than one person guesses correctly we will give each winner a number and use an online random generation number site to allocate prizes.
Note - Any members participating and winning seeds but not creating a diary (within the time Freedom of Seeds have requested) will be disqualified from future competitions of this nature..
So be sure you are able to create a diary of the seeds you may win within the next 5 months before entering!
The new strains details:
The new strain is a great outdoor UK plant finishing end of sept. She is very mould resistant and big yielder. She has a high potency ranging between 20-30% THC and a high CBD content at 15%.
She Finishes in 50 days flowering. This strain is a brilliant allrounder and is suitable for the less experienced as she is an easy grow.
The cross strains:
Dancehall
The plants are quite uniform, the yield is medium to high, while the flowering time is relatively short for such Sativa-dominant genetics.
It doesn't branch too much, so it's fine to grow in a S.O.G. as long as you put it into flower at just 3 weeks of age.
Perfectly adapted to the climate on the peninsula, outdoors it grows into a compact, robust plant. When the temperature goes below 20ºC towards the end of flowering, you may see it turn some gorgeous purple colours.
As far as aroma and flavour go, we could say that Dancehall has inherited all the best qualities of its ancestors. The aromas go from forest earth, to incense, to berry scents. The flavour fills your palate and stays with you for a good long while.
The effect is very cerebral, it's a high that is fast-acting, long-lasting and creative.

The Banana strain is a member of the OG Kush family. It is a delightful banana tinged adventure in relaxation and rest. This indica has some incredible sedative-like effects and users tout its ability to address insomnia and anxiety.

Grow indoors and outdoors. It can withstand a variety of temperatures. Typical harvesting time is around 8-9 weeks indoors and outdoors in early October.
