Default Unanswered: Avenger adjust a wings

Does anyone have any experience with these adjust a wings? Just wondering how I should have it set.

Atm I have the bulb in highest setting to the shade and the shade opened wide

Am I loosing light off the walls by have it wide open?

Online says to mimic the seasons with openening and closing but email of avenger they say the complete opisit and have the wings fully closed in my size tent. Cheers

    Thoughts would be appreciated! Thanks

What size tent? And the bulb is better positioned in the middle holder, with the diffuser as straight as possible under the bulb ya might have to give it a little bend

Iv had it on the highest setting cuz of what iv read online and wings widest.

    I'm in a 1.2x2.4.

Euroflector side seems bigger then the avenger side so iv been loosing light on the walls being on widest setting maybe? Meh. Avenger wing side is much more even canopy though! And I don't have the spreader 9n BTW

So im assuming you have 2 600w lights in there with a euro/barn reflector on one side and the avenger on the other? If so the avenger is only covering 1.2m² so to say.. if that's the case you want it on the smallest setting, again with the bulb in the middle position and get that spreader fitted and drop the lights as the spreader removes the hotspot meaning you can get the lamp closer for better umol penetration at and below the canopy

I don't personally own one but I'm one of the new age 'Instagram growers' and I follow adjustawings quite closely and have been for a while.. along with alot of people who use them and ive seen nothing but great results from their lights im saving up to buy the 630 de cmh and the 750 Hellion but coming in at over 1k is some money to be spending on HID lights

    Well that sucks!

Not the advice but iv had it wrong for the last 6 weeks

I was worried with the spread because no one online seems to use em lol

Maybe when I get an avenger the other side I could try one with a spreader and one with out lol

So keep the bulb in medium setting through veg and flower then ye? Cheers

It's supposed to mimic the seasons adjusting bulb heigh shade with ect but think that mainly apply to rooms 1.5m.

Here is an example. I'm more worried that I'm not getting enough light penitration on the wide settings due to more light hitting the walls but don't have a clue what raising and lowering the bulb does lol lol

You must of seen a ajustawing they have been around for a while now hotshot i bet you if you have a look back over some of the vids or YouTube you’ve watched there will be one or three on one of them. They are nice shades a good sized piece and versatile can be a little bit of a headache if you have been at the bong just before you first set one up lol but they are nice. Can be a little bit fragile if you’re a heavy handed sort but only in the way of bending the corners, the bulb holder is a good solid number. Right I’m off back to eating lego
