You are so lucky, winter here can hit -40 or colder in January, its so cold the snot in your nostrils freezes at your nostril openings making for a sticky gungy shit, with windchill I've seen it drop to -53.
I work in a f'ng tent that has 1 heater bar out of 14 working and the management are so f'ng tight fisted that its not in the budget or a priority to fix the heating until something bad happens, its more of a priority for management to get new trucks every 2 years.

I can't even remember what the coldest winter I experienced back in the UK was,no where near as cold as it gets over in the Canadian prairies that's for sure,my first winter here I thought WTF have I gotten myself into haha so cold, and so much snow, but the money is good(it has to be lol)

I'm hoping that with my forced air heating running for the next 5-6 months temps will be good with my LED boards,I will find out by mid December,I have my grow room pretty well insulated and there is a forced air vent in there but it is in the basement which generally is a few degrees cooler than the main floor.

Couple of HLG 288 260w kits would do nicely. Bit of investment upfront but its all savings and higher quality from then on

Thansk brother. Where would be the best place to get them from? Also, do they last a long time? Or are they like hps bulbs?

Thanks man, these will come handy in the summer months and hps for the winter I reckon it’ll cost more in electric if i have ~600watts draw of LED in the winter because I’ll have to run a heater 24/7

Your groom can be configured for Winter easily

    1750BTU of heat

Roughly 480w a pair. HPS plus ballast pulls 630w. 480w HLG will give 750g easily. Its equivalent of 800-1000w hps amount of bud.

Sure am brother . We do have a good climate here, perfect for outdoor crops as well, as winter starts late october usually and pretty managable id say for small crops

What do you mean by 1750BTU of heat? Does the led ballasts give off heat?

The ballast plus the leds. Big myth about led heat. 1w of power is 1w of power. All ends up as heat
