    The reservoir stand is a stand u put water in. A fireman told me its most definitely worth sitting it in water as it keeps the pines wet and less fall off also much less of a fire risk. Also seen a video of the difference. U ain't got a chance if the tree is dry and somehow catches alight.

    I can't stress enough to check the reservoir at least once
    a day. I would check it twice a day the first week to 10 days.
    They drink a lot and will go up like a roman candle if dry.

    Been watching the cat bloke on animal planet, he did a Christmas one, he was saying don't let cats drink the water the tree's are in cause it can damage their kidneys, don't know if it the same for dogs as well, so keep your pets away

    Ordered one, they cut it on delivery day, comin 29th or 30th nov. Premier Norway Spruce, 7 ft, £40. See how we get on with that, didn't fancy spendin £65

    Next big question...Lights. I'm thinkin plain/goldtraditional/white what ever ya wanna call em, I reckon they'd look better on a real tree compared to multi coloured. What ya think?

    Warm white i think is what ur after?? What about candle affect? Always liked that on a real tree.
