Few weeks from predicted harvest but amber trichomes?

Hi

I’m just towards the end of my first grow, I’m on day 40 of flowering and the strain info from the supplier (Grapefruit from Positronics) gives a flowering estimate of 60 days.

However on inspecting the trichomes last night and this morning it looks as if some are already turning amber which seems really far ahead of schedule? Am I wrong in thinking that this should be happening later than this?

A lot of leaves are starting to yellow and shrivel up,as in the majority of the fan leaves on one in particular are mostly gone, again I know this is to be expected but again it just seems slightly earlier than I would have thought.

Now I feel both my plants are a bit small and stunted due to a couple mistakes along the way and possibly flowering too soon, could this lead to them needing less flowering time? Still 40 days seems very short to be near to harvesting.

I’ve attached a few pics, could I get some feedback on how far along they are and how long I should wait?
I also thought they were still mostly clear but I’m guessing my untrained eye is not looking for the right thing?

They look mostly clear to me with one or two amber, I’d keep it going if I was you.

Still weeks off yet mate. Still way too many clears there and the calyx haven't even started to swell yet like hotshot says 4 weeks at least

I thought they seemed still too clear and were a ways off but with these odd amber ones dotted about just wanted to make sure I wasn’t missing something.
