Default Second pole mount fan to give up in a year

Well I've just gone in to check on my girls and noticed my 3 month old fan dead...
Getting sick of these fans now.

Being me i decided have a tinker and work out what's up with it, checked fuse but it's fine pulled on the wires gently and out pops the neutral wire - black on the end, looks burnt.

Stripped it all down and found the other part of the wire, all black and burned.

    Look at the pics!!!!!!

Anyone point me to a good reliable tent pole fan please???

I've had the white one in pics fail on me aswell, Linkage for rotate failed

I've just ordered a tower fan off amazon for £30. I like the idea of having a fan on the pole but just can't be bothered pissing about with them anymore.

    Absolute gash

I run tower fans laid down flat on floors of my flower spaces blowing under canopy ,and ffs I go thru may be 10 of the generic clip ons ...and I know not to buy anymore and get somthing more suitable for a longer life ...still not done it ....

Agreed! I'm sure there is a science behind it... but invaluable advice!

I have to agree with you there, had to try and kick start mine last time it gave up on me

Bit of WD40, and a bit of encouragement and she started spinning again lol. Those wall mounted fans look the business but I’ve not got room to try and mount one in my tent
