    Okay so back of tent was getting only 65k lux, probably just because i didnt push the lamps hangers deep enough but anyway buds seem to be bigger there in that part of the tent, so ive dropped lux to 70k max and will raise it slightly later to have just a better spread at 65k. this really makes sense as 65k would be about 1000 ppfd @gardro

    its actually very simple brother i thought the same way but once i started digging in, reading and asking questions, it started making sense very quickly...

    The cheapest of meters can be useful, as long as it is consistent.

    It might not tell you the par or umol/s etc. but it can tell you if one corner is getting more or less light than the others. Getting an even spread of light helps make for an even canopy.

    If a measurement is taken when the light is new, that is a benchmark for future grows in case the quantity of light goes down.

    Yep.. i got dense buds at 45k corners and 60k center. surely ill get better with 55k and 65 center . Perfect spread with 3 boards

    How are you measuring light? @Shreder Never done it with mine, the meters cost way too much when I looked them up 7-8 years ago.
