Default How much dark time is ok for plants in flower stage

I have my budding plants on a 14/10 cycle. 14 dark and 10 light. Is this ok? Will they produce more bud with more dark hours?

I think this is less bud and shorter flower time, don't take my word for this jmo, sure someone will pop by any second and clarify though

    the complete opposite
a plant needs photosynthesis to grow
    this happens when lights on...

it justs need darktime to enter flower mode (and stay there)
and our cannabis will do that in a 12 hours dark period, sometimes a bit less, so you could try 13 hours on, 11 off, if that's what youd like

When flowering photos, less hours of light per day means a quicker finish and a lower yield.

Apart from yield, autos seem to be the opposite. My autos on 12/12 are taking almost as long as photos to go from seed to finish.
