Default Unanswered: 1st time soil grow. How they looking?

Hi everyone, it’s been a few years since my last grow but I’ve switched from dwc to soil. I’ve noticed some of the leaves have started looking a bit dry but don’t think it’s much to worry about (well I hope).

Started them in 8L pots till day 16
Repotted then in 23L pots 2 days ago
Using Biobizz all mix and 2ml/1L fish mix with 1ml/1L calmag. I feed them every 2-3 days 2L per a 23L pot also I dont ph the water is that okay in soil?

Grown under 400w hps. Struggle to get stable temps but ranging from 25c-29c and humidity is around 40

Any advise on anything that I could improve or just opinions on how they look will be appreciated

It's hard to tell with lights on, but they are looking fine to me

If you're struggling with temps, i'd invest in a Inkbird 301 I think it is, they're a god send and will keep your temps at a steady 26degrees

You don't need to Ph in soil, just make sure you get plenty of run off after each watering/feed it'll help stop salt build up and nute lockout. It'll also push out old nutes your flowers haven't used up

I forgot to ask, are they photo period or autos?

If they're photo give them a good veg 30days or until they've got a bit of strength in them. Also plenty of topping / LST will increase your yields dramatically providing your setup is dialled in.

Cheers. They’re are photo period. When’s the best time to top them?

I'd give them a few more days before topping them. When you do top them, give them a minimum of a week before topping again so theycan get over the stress of the topping. LST can be done now and that'll help bring them bud sites at the bottom of the plant chance to grow up so you'll have a more even canopy + a few extra bud sites come flower

Yeah Rh wants to be 50%+ in veg. In the 60s would be optimal i believe. 50% in flower

Wet towels will help your humidifier should up the humidity quite a bit though
