    Default Neem oil drench help..

I have a slight fungus gnat infestation in my propergation tent...i have almost got rid of them with diamatitious earth but there still in the pots and im sure theres eggs in the soil ....

Ive read about neem oil soil drench but im not confident enough to do one yet....

My plants are established clones ready for potting on..

Can anyone tell me if this is the correct neem oil and how to do the drench please... any help greatly appreciated..

    Thanks x

I'm not sure on how much you would use as a drench but I use 5mpl weekly for foliar so you may need more than 10ml, I'd personally do a peroxide drench for gnats 3% peroxide I think is recommend and lots of sticky traps

I've never tried a drench either for fungus gnats, it'll be interesting to see how this goes

You can drench at 5ml per liter. But you'll need something to emulsify the neem oil. I use soap nuts but plain dish soap works. Just a couple drops.

Might be better off getting some traps and letting the top of the soil dry out and maybe some diatomaceous earth on top of the dry top.

Look into beneficial nematodes if this does not work out for you. had a 100 gallon going with big fungus gnat problem. after introducing nematodes the gnats were gone within 24 hours.

You might want to listen to the Red there and avoid it. Haven't personally done it.

I would however feel very comfortable spraying the soil surface with it.
