    Default Pipe fitting

Hi all I need a pipe fitting so I can see what level my water is in my res but for the life in me can not find what I need. I end clear pvc tubing and some sort of L fitting and the water tight connection to go in the res but don't know what combo of pipe and fitting to get.

If the purpose is to know when the res needs another mix added, I'd have a float switch on a plastic pipe inside the res. No need to drill any holes in the res. The switch could connect a battery and led/whatever when the level was low enough.

If it has to give a visual on whatever the current level is, I would fit an aquarium airline elbow and epoxy it in. After testing on a bucket with similar plastic first.

Interesting use of an electrical gland to do this. While its IP68 rated so it not designed for permanent submersion. It may hold though

Many plumbing parts, like tank or bulkhead connectors to do that.
