    Default ??Landrace or Hybrid??

So id like to start a new project. I've always been a big fan of growing/breeding well known strains or cannabis cup winners.
I am in a little dilemma with what will be a long term breeding project. regardless I know I want to start with a 100% sativa strain and a 100% indica strain.
My question for some of you folks would be investing in Hindu Kush and Oldtimers Haze (the hybrids from landrace strains) OR go all out starting with pure landrace indica and sativa strains, Probably being Wild Thailand or Nepal Highland (Sativas) and Ketama or Chitrali (Indica).
I'm open and encourage opinions and ideas on the subject.

I don't think there is A 100% land race strain today. As far as I know weed has been on earth for 10,000 years are longer. With the winds, Birds, and people, there probable all have A little of each other in them today. JMO

I can understand that, chances should be pretty good though to have small gene pools within strains that have been grown in seclusion for centuries. I agree that it would never be the same as the ganja from 10,000 years ago.
So lets say as close as possible landraces like the ones mentioned above.

I suppose it's possible Every 100 years or so, an infected field could bread out what was grown into it, and become close to where it was when it started. Those land race strains are getting harder to find, unless you visit the country, and take them out of A field. Not many seed banks that sell them today.

Correct, that would be a little bit of a tough one. Then there is the risk that goes along with going to these places. The vault seemed to be really good with their variety.

You can google Bastered Seeds, and Find a few that are still on the market. I like this Colombian Gold Hybird that World of Seeds has made. They added 25% Indica to the Colombian Gold Bastered seed. It is A lovely smoke, can't really tell the difference except it has about 4.5% more THC than the Orginal Bastered Plant. Good hunting.
