Answered: Flip or veg longer?
Alright lads,
This is only my third photo grow and second proper Scrog, I’m unsure wether to veg longer or just flip now.
They don’t seem to have many tops, but the net is already bowing from growth, should I just flip and keep tucking until the smaller branches reach the net and fill it that way?
Strains are
2 x Bubba Slush (bubba kush x gelato)
2 x Bubba Kush
They are 5.5 weeks old, 3.5 weeks in these 16ltr pots
And pointers would be great

Personally I'd flip now mate. Your going to have some tucking to do when they stretch and its gonna be tight for space imho

Get em flipped mate once once stretch starts your gonna run out of room to tuck any further

Id defoliate all big fan leaves before taking any decision. And probably veg longer after that, then flip.. defoliation helps promote new growth as well

After defol, u will notice how much true space uve got left to fill the scrog, i would under do it just a lil bit, if it isnt a cut where u can estimate the stretch and volume of new side branches, anyway, when my tent is over crowded, i tend to take off un wanted growth.. litteraly cutoff the branch from the base, we dont need branches overlapping each other, etc, so go with your heart and dont stress out about cutting off branches and leaves u doing a great job mukka
