Default Long term storage and humidification with vacuum sealing

Looking at storing long term and I am planning to use ball jars vacuum sealed with my foodsaver vacuum sealing attachments. My question is if anyone knows about also using humidity accessories that add or draw in humidity. I currently store cigars and use polypropylene glycol that keeps cigars at 70%. I'd like to keep my weed at 70%.

I doubt I'm the first person to think about this type of storage and I'm hoping that someone else will chime in here with some thoughts.

I am reading where vacuum sealing in standard vacuum storage bags and then freezing is the best way to go, but I don't like the idea of that. Just me..

This site is great...Thanks for any input...

I suppose it boils down to how long you want to keep it for. I've heard of vacuum packed weed lasting an easy 5 year... couldn't really add much more to that though

You can get bovada packs to put in there if you want to and there's another brand that name escapes me. They advertise the 62% being the best, but I think 58% is better.

Honestly, I've got stuff I've grown 3 years ago still chilling in a mason jar, nothing extra. If i weren't keeping some as trophies I wouldn't think twice about using it. I check it out every once in while and appears to be just how I left it.
