Default What Kelvin's for flowering auto's?

Hey fellow Talker's was wondering what your thoughts are on this subject.

I have my next grow started and am going to have to flower using my T5 again.
I know most on here will tell me to get a better light but that is undoable at the
moment. Probably gonna have to wait till after Christmas. Before my last grow
I had read that autos should be flowered under 6500k. No need to change from
veg spectrum. Now I am wondering if I should flower under 2700k or half
    2700k and half 6500k. I have an eight bay T5 4foot by 2foot.

Hope to get y'all thoughts on the subject.

I would say with that lighting it would be a waste of time/money/seeds and effort to be honest with you mate. I personally would wait until you can get better lighting.

When I was using CFLs I only used the red ones... didn't seem worth the effort of buying blue & swapping them after a couple of weeks.

It cause a bit of stretch at seedling stage but no other major issue

I already have both 2700k and 6500k lamps. Actually I have 10 of each so could go all 2700k in flower
if ya think it would help.

Light is light... yes, you get better results using the right spectrum but all light counts towards the end product

I get what you are saying MC but I guess I should ask do you think the red would help with bud density at all?
Also would it help with tric production?

No need to apologize. I was shocked by what autos will do now. That was in soil
and this new grow will be too, only because I had already bought it.
Am thinking of going to coco next time.

Never done a side by side test but from my research. The red light will decrease stretching and less internodal growth. The less energy the plant puts into stretching and stem growth will have to go somewhere. In theory, more red light should lead to denser buds.
Not positive on the tric production though.
