Default Anyone help me on this set up please never done a grow in my life

So I've found this kit which includes
    (201675) BudBox Lite 1.2m x 2.4m x 2.0m
    (87418) LUMii Heavy-Duty Timer x 2
    (126016) 230v Philips Greenpower Lamp x 2
    (92741) Optilux 600w Digital Ballast x 2
    (82601) Adjust-A-Wings Enforcer (Medium) x 2
    (410250) Shogun Samurai Coco A&B 1 litre
    (84222) Canna Coco Natural 50 litre x 2
(82172) 2 litre Jug with Handle
    (82045) 20ml Syringe and (82042) 10ml Syringe
    (88737) 12 litre Fabric Pots x 8 and (80030) 35cm Black Plastic Saucers x 8
    (85347) Agrolab Hygrometer
    (82383) 6-Inch RAM Clip-On Fan x 2
    (85661) 6-Inch White Combi Ducting x 5m
    (83961) CarboAir Rope Ratchets x 3
(86562) 6-Inch Fast Clamp and (89332) Duct Clip
    (90652) Rhino Pro 150/600
    (91392) Systemair RVK L1- 6 Inch (150MM) and (82256) 2m Mains Cable

I also have the ph testing kit separate would all this be okay for 8 plants. Will I need any different size pots. Would I need a humidifier/dehumidifier and can I use the same bulbs through all the grow (600w). They have separate settings on the ballast starting from 200w, 300w, 400w, 600w and 660xr watt mode (could be slightly different). I was thinking starting from 200w as I will be using cuttings from a friend and then finish on the 600w? Or would it be okay using the 660 mode maybe on the last few weeks of flowering.

Also my local hydroponic store has a additives/fertiliser kit would it be worth buying as it says it increases quality and yield it is Shogun Samurai Coco Multi pack containing

    1x Samurai Coco 1 Litre A and B, 1x 250ml Katana Roots, 1x 250ml Silicon, 1x 250ml CalMag, 1x 250ml PK Warrior 9/18, 1x 250ml Sumo Active Boost, 1x 250ml Dragon Force and a Shogun Coco Grow

    Thanks to anyone who replies.

Hey brother, welcome to the forum. Everything you've listed looks great! you will need to be able to check the EC of your water and your nutrient mix so you're going to need a trunction. You also need a pH meter not a test kit with strips or any of that kind of stuff and it should be a decent quality meter you won't find anything for 20 bucks on eBay that'll be any good.

I always prefer to run seeds and I have never once allowed any cuttings from some other grower into my grow room, in my area that's a great way to get pests that you'll just never get rid of.

Thanks for your reply. From the same place I found the kit they sell this for $40 1 x pH meter (with calibration screwdriver), 1 x EC meter (with calibration screwdriver), 2 x carry cases, 1 x 250ml Growth Technology EC1.413 Calibration Fluid, 1 x 1 x 250ml Vitalink pH Buffer 7 Calibration Fluid

The kit i mentioned also cost $900 is that value for money as I don't really know about good/bad brands with it all been completey new. Just an average smoker tired of paying high prices lol.

I use those kind of manual pH pens as backups, you really need a good auto calibrating and auto adjusting pen.

What are your goals with this grow? I mean what kind of yield are you looking for?

Okay thanks and looking for around 8/10 Oz per plant would definitely be enough for me and my partner plus enough to experiment with edibles/hash. Seen a lot of growers using dehumidifiers and humidifiers is this a must or just an extra later on.

The humidity depends a lot on what part of the world you're from, guys in the UK have quite a bit of trouble with it. I'm over in a desert area Washington State and I don't have to worry about humidity at all. I have added humidity when it's real dry, but honestly I can't be bothered anymore.

Coco is something you can get pretty good-sized harvests in, you'll end up doing a lot of training I suspect and you may have to limit your plant numbers a little bit. I see you got eight pots but you might find your space fills up a little bit quick with that many.

This is the tent 1.2x2.4 and 2 metre high it comes with 8 12 litre pots i thought 4 on each side with a light above each 4 or would you recommend maybe 6 for that space as I'm aiming at 10 ounce per plant.

I would probably if it was me do two plants under one light. You could also do two rows of three stretching between the two lights. That second choice would be about the maximum I think I would do.

That was my original plan 2 rows of 3 but I was thinking about the middle 2 not getting as much light. Will LST make them shorter but more bushy like a larger surface area covered because if so all 6 would receive same light wouldn't they? And would the 2 air vents at the bottom be good enough for clean air coming in? Or would I need some type of inline fan pushing air into the tent.

You'll have to check the specs on your light reflectors to see what size footprint you get, but you should have plenty of room to do two rows of three. Although starting with four plants would be easier.

You can definitely train your plants for the best light illumination and penetration. That's how you get the real big harvest.

Check out one of @Shreder grows he has an interesting training method, that really maximizes his space.
