Default 1st week of burping jars complete

    Ayeo,

I started the jar cure process on Monday this week. But after 5 days my once live and fragrant ladies, now smell like lawn clippings.

After I chopped, I hung them by their single long branch, after 4 days, skinny branches were snapping, temp was 55F to 65F, RH was 40% to 55%. That was best of what I could do.

Now it's all in Mason jars and one medium Tupperware bin, only spread across the full bottom. I've been burping 2x a day, for one hour. The room smells like weed, but upclose - jar to nose, it smells like grass.

Also buds seem airy. They were so dense when alive.

Please give me some advice on how to finish curing in these jars.

    Cannot fail.

They probably just need longer. Keep on burping the jars, give them time and keep an eye on the RH inside the jars

I use a big bucket for burping mine I just drop in a thermometer with the humidistat and I check the humidity. If it's above 65% I dump the whole thing out on a table for a half hour, if it's below 65 but above 62 I'll open it up for a half hour. If it's up above 70 it just stays on the table for a few hours.
