Default How often do i water in coco with drip feed

    Hi guys.

I'm just about to switch from autopot to a drain to waste drip feed system using coco and there is one thing i haven't thought about - watering schedule!!!

Plants are coming back from a pH problem so I'm in a rush to get this new system up and running and getting these plants looking better.

Just got a couple of question for anyone out there using a dripper system.

How often should i be watering them in veg and in flower?
What sort of ph you guys using I'm thinking 5.8?
Do you test run off to see how much nutrients are being absorbed to water?

    Any advice welcome

    Thank you

Once a day is plenty in veg, in flower i was feeding upto 3 times daily. Heard of folk doing 10 times - its probably broad as it is long

You will need to reign the EC back a bit compared to single feeds.

    pH:

Mid to high 5s range in veg

High fives to low 6s drift in flower

You can get salt build up with dippers so i would have one of my feeds go twice the length of the others to get a good rinse through once per day.

    Gardro is so spot on...
Personaly just moved to open flow drip so i can see the actual drip flow and make sure they all working properly. 2-3 days with one dripper semi clogged and u will be getting nute lockouts sooner than u think

Open flow? Is this just the 4mm pipe without dripper on the end?

Sorry mate i got you. The system I've got you can see the drips so must be what you are talking about.

Tubing is held with the spikes and this dripper hangs up out of the soil so you can see drips out of the bottom hole.

    3 per pot
