    Done and dusted..
Using a friend's pH meter, exactly same as mine that failed - going to invest in a bluelabs one.

Bought a cheap £10 yellow one off amazon to get me by and that one is now in the bin, it wouldnt calibrate absolute rubbish

[QUOTE=Shreder;1071129342]@Farmer Geddon you obvoiusly know how to read your plants very well. I would never advise someone to grow in coco without meters.

    /QUOTE]

I can't read plants. That's why I do passive hydro and use the lucas formula. Following the advice of lucas himself, whatever light they get flowered under is the light that mine get germinated and vegged under. With dtw and lf, I've only ever had 1 sick plant and that was recently when I over watered the poor thing. (Be careful with 50/50 p/v.)

Same mix every time makes it easy for me. For coco, (to stay on topic,) 20 litres of tap water, 30ml of GH Micro and 45ml of GH Bloom. Pour that into the nute res and away we go. I know a guy in a hard water area using the same mix but hard water Micro. I don't think he has ever measured ec or pH.

For those wanting to use weaker nutes early on (why?) then there will be a different pH for each strength. Still doesn't need a meter imo. pH test drops are close enough for passive. If you know that 20 litres of half strength nutes needs X ml of pH adjuster, then use X ml every time you make up 20 litres of half strength nutes.

Plants just look hungry to me. Ph issues usually show at top of plant imho.

    Geddon, it sounds complicated, tbf...

Canna coco is making life easy
I could grow seed to weed with only a+b.
Start ec 0.7, up to 1.0 and autopilot... 1 water per day... will be good weed and probably good harvest as well. Just swing ph 5.8 to 6.3 during flower.
